Right. I've been playing.
I've spent a fair bit of time recently messing with my blog template, and adding some stuff. Here's what's new...
* The new custom header, with the dolphin
* The favicon (little icon next to the URL in your address bar), a little silver leaf
* The labels cloud, which should work like my old labels list - the bigger the text, the more posts there are with that label
* The 5 most recent comments should now show on the left hand side of the page
* There's now another sidebar, on the left - hopefully this will make my sidebar stuff a bit more accessible
I'd love to know what you think - feedback is good. I was worried that the main text might get a bit lost, but it's looking okay to me. But it is 5am and I haven't been to sleep so I don't value my own opinion very much! Anything you think I should change?

Love the Dolphin header - I'd like something on those lines on my blog too, but I just never seem to get round to doing anything other than just basic stuff on my laptop these days, ie reading blogs and forums. Not sure I like the latest comments thing down the side, but that's probably because most of them are mine! On the whole though yep, like the new look

ReplyDeleteThe dolphin header was dead easy - I just cropped the pic to 900x200 pixels (because that's the size of my header), used http://www.online-image-editor.com/ to add the text, then followed the instructions here http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2007/06/how-to-create-custom-header-in-blogger.html#3830065051170011070
An easier way once you've created the pic is to just go into your blogger template, page elements, then edit you header. You should be able to upload the pic there.
